Latest: 18.05.12 Project 13 @ Joshua Brooks

In The Fade Records is a home-grown dance record label that has recently enjoyed success with their debut release; Pdex – Colours In Sound Vol.1, and is fast gaining recognition in the Drum and Bass and Dubstep scene.

The Cardiff, Hertfordshire and London based label was founded by Matt Brinkworth and Sam Clewlow as an outlet for their music.  The recent success of In The Fade is owed much to the talent of Clewlow, also known as DJ Pdex, with the label finding itself sold out in physical copies of his exciting debut EP with orders placed across the globe from California to Prague, despite it becoming available for legal download shortly after the physical release.

Although having experienced great success from his debut album, Pdex is no stranger to the Drum and Bass scene.

Having started spinning seriously at 16 through purchasing second hand Technics decks from a mate’s older brother, Pdex has evolved from a primarily hip hop DJ into a Drum and Bass DJ in constant demand.

Pdex, who initially found his feet in the prominent Oxford D&B circuit, has since been packing out shows across the country, sharing the stage with some of the scene’s biggest names such as Goldie, DJ Marky, Commix, Pendulum, No-Names, Futurebound, Punjabi Hit-Squad, Nicky Blackmarket, Logistics, Gentlemans Dub Club, Aquasky and Cyantific, as well as courageously introducing Drum & Bass to hardened rock fans when touring with the critically acclaimed Enter Shikari in 2007, and in 2008 affably masquerading as a mad scientist wearing a lab coat and glasses.

In The Fade Records are now preparing their next release, which will include tracks from Pdex and also a debut track, ‘Don’t You Know’ from co-founder Matt Brinkworth, under his alias Retrospekt and will be available on the majority of popular download sites as a digital release.  More details are to be confirmed later this summer, stay tuned.
